Off all the time. I tell my car what to do, it doesn't tell me. I guess its good for the un-attentive drivers that don't pay attention to what they are doing with their car.

off all the time via KPTech module.

If you have ever pulled out in traffic with it on and needed to accelerate to avoid getting hit, and you lose power due to tcs or vdc, you will understand why some of us like it off.

I think TCS is more dangerous on. VDC is better in inclement weather, if you have it, but only having TCS it does more harm than good IMO in 99% of situations.

I drove the car this morning with the TCS off just to see if there was a noticeable difference. I admit that there is a difference, but the difference is, in my opinion, barely perceptible. Again, I'm not an off the line, rev my engine at Mustangs, type of driver, nor do I condone burning rubber just to get attention from onlookers; however, I do like moving in the 130 to 140 area (only on the track), and I like to be able to get to those speeds as quickly as possible.

It's hard to judge what a system dealing with slipping tires does when not actually slipping the tires.

When starting this thread I had no idea how many Z owners on this forum had no idea or what the difference is with TCS. Guess ppl don't do their reseach or just don't know about their car in general.

Or just might be interested in some other aspect of the car other than the TCS. Hey, but that's what it's all about, isn't it!

is kinda the other way around.

TCS = Traction Control System (stand alone)
VDC = Vehicle Dynamic Control + TCS (combined)

You can turn either system(s) off via its button, but some have agruged and I will agree . . . when you turn VDC off, there are still some signs that the computer will still play nanny in some extreme situations.

I do know that when either your TCS or VDC button is off, TCS is really OFF.

Yeah. Whether or not VDC is really 100% disabled (if you even have it) can be questionable, but its obvious when TCS is on or off. And TCS is off when you turn it off.

I had this kick in the other day when I dropped down into third gear to pass on a straight country road.I was going about 55 mph,and was ready to upshift at near 70(no where near the rev limit) and the TCS kicked in leaving me and the car sputtering and losing power in the opposing lane.I have had it kick in around corners at moderate speeds where there is a rise just before the turn,I assume as the suspension unloads.I have been running with it off ever day since and find the car to be much more predictable under all conditions. As others have stated,I will engage it when the roads are wet,but otherwise I roll with it off.I don't care to be left hanging with no power while passing again.
