All the time. Not prudent to take it off, unless on a track.

It's like my driving habit now- I turn it off as soon as I start the engine without thinking but turn it on as soon as rain drops on the windshield.

On the public highway - Always on, no matter what, even on perfectly clear days with ideal traction. Well, one exception is if it NEEDS to be off in snow/ice/mud so that I can get it to move.

On tracks/autocross - Always off, no matter what, even with rain/snow/sheets of ice/worst possible traction.

I shut mine off everytime I get in the car...

Unless it starts pouring or snowing, then I turn it back on, move two lanes over and cruise in the slow lane....

You've own your Z for over a year and have been in this forum for about the same time, and you don't have a clue what the TCS/VDC button is? You may want to learn more about it -- someday, it may save your life and/or others.

Well, its kind of like an anti-magnet. If you have it off, the car will be magnetically attracted to poles/concrete barriers/etc in the rain. If you have it on, your car will be less inclined to obey the magnetic force attracting it to its doom.
