Wow, the U.S. pays their military horribly. The Canadian military pays our soldiers 30k/year...but then again we have a very small military

This is the car that I wanted since the VERY FIRST TIME I SAW IT ON CAR AND DRIVER TV back in 2002.
Yay, my tax dollars going to waste! Luckily 4/5ths of the U.S. government is financed by loans though. Of course, 35% of the loans are from foreign investors, which is a problem.

don't be another military guy that blows all of his little money on cars. Save it an invest in your future. The military more than likely is only going to be a stepping stone for you.

True about some military types (some, not all, obviously - especially the young ones).
A military guy bought one of my Ducatis once. He paid an obscene amount of $ for it through Ebay. A few months later he sold it due to $ problems at nearly half the price he had paid. He lost a lot of $ on that deal.
Very unhealthy financial attitudes.
Be careful.
The Z is just a car. It's not going to change your life.
Save your $.

The trick with USAA is to NOT use them first. When I bought my second car, I was shopping for quotes and hit up USAA for a quote on a '99 Civic Si (that I didn't buy)... they wanted close to 4 grand a year. Fast foward to shortly after I bought my Z, hit USAA up for a quote and it was the cheapest I had gotten from anywhere. Same still holds true now.

No, they're not going to waste. They're given as incentives for men to put their lives on the line for you (even though no amount of money can truely compensate for their sacrifices). It's their money... they can do whatever the **** they want with it (even if it's not the smartest thing to do).

Put their lives on the line for me? Really? Are you talking about when we attacked Afghanastan when they refused to turn someone over to us without proof of any wrongdoing? I take it you do not believe in habeus corpus then.

Or when we attacked Iraq, a country that we originally supplied with WMD's, then committed an act of war through sanctions, resulting in the death of 500,000 Iraqi civilians, mostly women and children, after which we invaded, because of false reports of WMD's, and have since killed 700,000 to one million civilians? Thank god for our military. I am so proud to be an American, helping finance the slaughter of millions of innocent lives.

Yea, my tax dollars are wasted on the worthless "services" provided by the U.S. military.

you would be the first type of person to complain when the next terrorist attack hits a lil closer to Oregon. Some people are just ungrateful. You freely use that freedom of speech though, that is a service the military provides.

What a waste of skin. GTFO of this country if you can't appreciate the sacrifices made by our men in uniform.

Regardless of how you feel, the service members did and do not make those decisions.

Freedom of speech is a "service"?

And yes I would complain about a terrorist attack. I would complain about how it is the result of the abuse of the worlds population by the U.S. military complex.

Hmm, have you ever heard of "Nationalism"? You should research Nazism and Fascism if you have not.

The service members always have a choice whether or not to follow those decisions.

Thankfully, Oregon has a tendency to attract large numbers of those types. Keeps alot of em out of my state.

Why would you not want educated people in your state?

Ah, I see, your knee-jerk reaction is to call me a moron. Very mature of you.

I only pay 700 a year for full coverage. For the OP, take the advise, don't buy a car that will keep you broke all the time, I know I did it and it sux. Buy something cash, don't finance it. I retired from 20 years Navy and now work for the Navy as a contractor. When I'm at work I see cars in the parking lot's at work and can pick out the cars bought by junior sailors, first they are LEASED so no equity second they usually have expired tags because now a year later they can't afford registration fees.

If you really want a 350Z look for a used 03 that may need a little work, nothing more than 15K. When you're deployed you can save for upgrades or mods. BTW when you're deployed (IRAQ) you won't pay any taxes plus extra pay for HFP. If I were you, get a crotch rocket for the thrill and a beater for comfort.
