Kids usually = more safety precautions. The day you wreck the MR with your kid in it tryna show off then you'll regret it.

EVO 9 FTW if you got a family and need a car you can drive year round in just about any weather.

Motor holds 400whp no problem... .

Easier to drive, seats 4, fits extra set of rims to take to the track pluss no matter what EVO model you get, you get Brembos and they hold up to the track very well.

MR's actually have a more luxury suspension on them as in softer than the GSR's and RS. The GSR suspension handles lowering springs very well and is a very cheap upgrade that put the car on another level of crazy good handeling. The non MR shocks are overdamped for their OEM springs.. .

The 5spd is the better tranny to get for 2 reasons, 1.) it handles the track heat better(more oil in it), 3) it loves the high HP boost b/c of the gearing.

you can however get an MR and swap some of the 5spd gears in and keep 6th for highway cruising.. .

Buy a 4 doors DD and keep the Z. Why buy another $30K car when you already have a Z? The STi or EVOs main draw for me is output and AWD which makes it a better all season vehicle. But I just can't see them as Sports cars on even as I would a BMW 4 door because there looks. It just looks Boy racer or rally car on the street, I wouldn't mind having one but I wouldn't be satisfied with as my sports car.

To me, I may be wrong the only Upgrade from the Z is a Vette or a Porsche.

#s don't lie the STi or Evo is still best bang for the buck, they just don't look like or feel $30k until you press the pedal to the metal.

in a perfect world everyone would be able to afford multiple cars... .

If you looking for a track star - EVO
If you lookin for fair weather DD driving - EVO
Easy HP mods - EVO = 325whp for under 3Gs easy
very nice sports car looks for cheap - 350Z
feel of luxury and looks - G35

All around amazing car used 00-03 BMW M3 cpes can be had used for 23-27K.. . A WAY BETTER car than a 350Z in just about every department except the exotic sports car look.. . Will hold their resale value too... .

You have a base Z and not enough money to TT it anyway.

Don't let a woman dictate your car purchases.

Light green in it? I think you should stop smoking the green.

There's a bunch of silvers... Silverstone is a dark silver color, close to the HR Z's Carbon Silver. Chrome Silver is a lighter silver, and I believe there was a Liquid Aluminum or something that was also very light.

But WTF does that have to do with this thread?

Both cars sound like a lot of fun. But I would take the TT 350z since its something you see everyday.

i'd single turbo the z running off both manifolds. .into 1 unit for no lag. .sure might not be as powerful as twin. .but i believe you get a quicker response from both sides of the engine running into one turbo!!

Wrong. Unless, of course, you're running a turbo the same size as one that you'll find on a twin setup (which is extremely retarded).
