2003 Z:
Weight 3200lbs
Horsepower: 287HP
Power to Weight: 1 : 11.1
2007 Z:
Weight 3400lbs
Horsepower: 306HP
Power to Weight: 1 : 11.1
The only reason the 2007 Zs are faster are because of the 7700RPM redline, which allows the car to shift into a stronger powerband. The huge differences in power are probably exaggerated, imo. I'm not saying they aren't there, they just aren't as dramatic as some say.

After seeing all the fixed up Z, They all look the same 2 me. Whoever knows cars better and fixed it up right, plus driving skills, model year doesn't really matter.

As far as I know only a couple of people (07) got that time 13.3. Just like a couple of people with 03-04 have gotten 13.4 stock...you 07 guys are starting to get a little carried away. The HR is faster than previous years and credit is giving were its due...but please! its only by a few tenths...maybe 3-4...you guys are acting like you got a super Z or something...PLEASE!

So are they gonna bring out 370Z or what? 'Cause I'm getting bored with this 3.5 engine.
hahaha j/k. I love my '04 Z. I also like the newer Z. I can't wait 'til my wheels comes in!!

If 07 was available in 05, which one would I get? I would not trade my 05 for an 07 and lose my money because it is not like a Mustang V6 to a V8. My next car would be a totally different car, I mean either a 100hp gain, or a next generation car. To those with an 07, enjoy your ride. To those with a pre-07, stick with it!!!

Wow you have an 07', enjoy not being able to mod you ride, enjoy the oil burning which I have already heard about, next 3+ years in payments, etc. My Z is slow compared to what I am used to, but the style, power delivery, ability to go so many different routes to achieve high HP, style, handling, and now even FCKING AWD. I envy the guys who's Z's are paid off, they have more money to throw into their rides. Hats off to all you fckers that have your cars paid off, I hate you, lol.
I have an 07 with 4k miles on it and hasnt burned a drop of oil during break in, and I check it every 500 miles. I have not heard about the 2007 burning oil. I have heard that the 2006 has some oil consumption issues, but not the 2007. What are your sources for this info ???

i dunno, i love the new 07s but i really see no reason why i should change my revup especially since my oil issue is gone and its all ready able to get 290rwhp with bolt ons and a tune. With better headers or as more NA parts become aviable....i really dont need a HRs rpms since i can rev already preety high. I raced a HR and though i lost every time the margin of loss isnt drastic that bolt ons cant handle in a revup. Im happy where im at moreso then my previous z which was a 287. And unless teh 380RS engine comes out in a Z the HR will really have no swaying on my revup.

the wheels aren't new for 07, the hood is different for a reason, every car can be recalled for something they just found (no matter the year) and the interior is pretty much the same as all Zs.
if your spelling is any indicator of your employment level, i am pretty shocked that you can afford a car at all.
