You may be right Scafremon. If I didn't get positive results I wouldn't do this calling stuff.
Before most judge me, in a non positive light. You guys should to get to know me besides this internet persona no why to express personality on the net besides typing which im sure most can tell I suck at it.
The only reason why I post stuff is im just excited when i hear cool stuff rumour or not and I share it before getting all the facts. I think it makes this forum fun. IMHO

We obviously have different opinions on how/when information rec'd should be shared.
I see these forums as information sites, not rumour mills.
LA Times as opposed to National Enquirer.
It's true, that the tabloids do on occassion get the 'breaking story', but not very often.
As long as everyone knows what paper they are reading, I guess there is no harm.

I'm glad someone got good news today. My Aug. delivery date with a June production has slipped back to Sept. '02. I guess I should feel "happy" that I might be the 1st person on L.I. to have a 350Z. (according to dealership)

If a boat holds 2600 cars how many ports will it go to?
If it is only going to the east coast then there must be a different baot for the west coast. With this assumption there could be 5200 cars delived to the states within days of each other.
Aug 12th 2600 arrive on west coast and say Aug 15th 2600 arrive on the east coast.
What do you think?

has there been any mention of how many 350Z's they are building a month?
If the goal is 30,000 units the first year then that would be 2500 a month. I rember seeing from scarfman's web http://www.scafremon.com site that there are about 2.5 ships scheduled to leave the soure port, therefore I would guestimate about 1000 cars a ship.

The Z's are gonna trinkle in with other cars. I was told that specifically.
But there is more than one ship coming so once the Z's start coming the first shipment will be light then others more as time goes on.
There will be multiple ships and multiple ships going to mulitple ports. I dont have any more info on that.

I'm assuming a high number of Z's because NISSAN will not want to make their pre-order custmers wait too long.
They would need to send that many per boat if they are to get all pre-orders filled by november.
What where there like 7700 pre-orders?
Sept 2500 delivered
leaves 5200
october 2500 delivered
leaves 2700
nov 2500 delivered
leas 200 (I'm assuming that this is the number delived in Aug.)
