When I take my dog for a car ride, I cut out a little hole in a garbage bag and put it over my dog with his head sticking out so he doesn't shed all over the seats and dashboard like he did the first time...I learned my lesson. Now whenever I take him for a ride, I get funny looks from people. Seeing a dog wearing a garbage bag.

i know exactly how you feel as a detailer i am very a/retentive about my Z but listen to this crap
had my car at a local body shop when the car finally was complete i checked the car . swirl marks all over the left side when i returned a couple of days later the swirl marks were gone but i noticed imperfections in the paint agin i left it when i returned the imperfections were gone but the swirl marks were back when i told them i wanted it done again they told me that i was too picky of a customer and she was not going to do anything else for me because there was no peasing someone like me. needless to say we are not please and are researching others ways to be satisfied
oh by the way the car is for sale lol

I guess you could call me obsessive about keeping the car clean...especially the wheels. I have Work S1's and people laugh at me when they see me cleaning all the rivets with a toothbrush

OCD to say the least. There are a couple of small scratches and by small I mean SMALL scratches on the steering wheel and a tiny snag in my passenger seat. They bother me to no end though, to the point where I'm considering buying a whole new seat and steering wheel to rectify it. I try to point them out to family / friends and they just look at me like I'm out of mind.

I'd say I am. I spend about 3 hours each weekend detailing it inside and out, chew people out for leaning on it, leaving trash in it, hell I even get pissed at my girlfriend for using the manual lock switch to get out of the car. I dont even know why that bothers me; I think its because the electric lock switch is right there!

Wow! I dont feel alone now. I live in a Condo development a we dont have asign parking spaces. Therefore, there's one parking space in which I could see the car from my living-room. Since I get home before most of my neighbors I tend to park there and not move my car for the rest of the evening. If someone calls me and they want me to go out and meet them, I always decline because I dont want to loose my parking space.

I cant wait to get a garage.
