Actually no you're not wrong. In Canada the Z4 Coupe is not available. The Z4M Coupe is the only choice. In the roadie you can opt for either M powered or not.

A Cayman S on the other hand I would take in a heartbeat over my 07 Z. Would have gotten one but alittle out of my price range, and the regular cayman just wont cut it. As far as bmw's being gorgeous, I personally am not a fan of those kidney grills, never was. Porsches on the other hand are goregeous, timeless designs that will look good year after year, can't say that with a bimmer.

The only bmw that really catches my eye would be the 645I.

the quarter mile times for a stock i355 were around 13.6-13.5. I think we have seen some people on the forum with stock 07' Z's hit 13.2 and 13.3. So im not really sure why everyone is bashing the Z. I kinda wish the Z had a stock turbo though =(

In a straight line 335i is faster than the 03'-06' Z but it is even with the 07' Z.

Handling on any track the Z will outdo it.

Two different types of cars. One is pretty much a real sports car. The other is a sport luxury coupe.

The Z is a lot closer to the Z4 in terms of overall package, which is what it has been compared to many times in different reviews the last few years.

Know your stuff people.
