I'm in south / central area and yes, the roads do suck (except for some of the major interstates). What's worse is some of the nicer suburb areas (based on tax) have some of the worst roads like Kings Hwy in Cherry Hill. There is this one intersection that is full of holes and has been that way for years. Everytime I go past that intersection, I think "with all the taxes this town supposedly charges, you think they could repave at least this section of their main thru-way". Another that comes to mind is 130. This road is horrible. Very uneven front to back and left to right. Also, very narrow with no shoulder. If there is a hummer on certain parts of this road, it certainly won't fit in a lane.

Anyway, I could go on all day but bottom line is unless you are on an interstate or out in the country, NJ rds can kill your enjoyment (and in some cases, your car if you are not careful).

I was on the off ramp right next to 440 north headed towards Staten Island, right before you reach the Texaco station on your right. I think everything is ok, but in order to be sure I'd have to have the car lifted. I have tried my best to see underneath and don't see anything out of place, and I also made sure to check for any fluid puddles after being parked for some time.

it does not smell where i live (i grew up in long island moved to NJ when i was 27) and i'll tell you what i would not move back to that overpriced, overpopulated $hithole if you payed me, so i will deal with some bad roads not like NY is any better and have you ever smelled staten island which by the way is in NY
