I'm gonna' play devil's advocate and say, the truck driver was a moron. How do you hit somebody parking in an enormous parking lot like that of a Home Depot? I mean the spaces are so long and wide, and I'm sure the guy knew he hit the car. Otherwise he'd have left his truck sitting on top of the Z. So that's BS.

I personally hate careless drivers like that. I don't agree with the actions of OP, but I sure as hell don't sympathize with the truck driver being immobilized.

 

well that's just it, the OP said he backed his car up before checking for damage so the truck very well could have been on his car still.

not only that but if like he says he poped the dent out and the scratches are so light that he thinks he can buff and wax them out I don't believe that the dude in the truck knew he hit him.

but even playing devils advocate when have no idea where that guy was at. he could have been in the store paging for captain douche bag on the intercom.

his truck was still there he wasn't trying to hide what he did or he didn't know. I've seen ppl hit cars in parking lots then move or leave all together so that they wouldn't get caught, why wouldn't he do that unless he didn't know or was actually trying to find the ******* that owned the Z he hit?

OP is a lazy ***** I've been rearended twice and both times it was a hassle but it got fixed both times and no one has to loose there job or anything. in fact one of the times I was less that 3 minutes from work and ended up being and hour late.

as for calling everyone that thinks what you did a puss. why didn't you man up and confront the guy? your so badass right? females slash and key real men get things done the right way no matter how pissed off they are.
