well like ive been sayin the S and Z are very close in performance and run similar times simple as that. racind isnt everything but if they were to race it would depend on the driver. im no way a HONDA man you can believe that, i only like the s2k and nsx really. you can have all the civics and other crap. i love all cars and love to drive new things i can respect each car for its pros and cons. and the way you make it sound is that there is no way a Z could lose to a S "no matter how you try and say it, is not as fast or a faster car than the Z."-jake its up to the driver man how can you seriously say its not![Confused](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)

Can we please shut this thread down? It has become completely pointless in the last few pages and no one will contribute anything about the 2 cars that hasn't already been said. Drive both and pick one that fits you best, they're too different to compare.... Thank You

No Honda comes with power out of the box except for the NSX. The only reason the S is even relatively 'quick' is because it's got at least half the metal the Z does; it's crazy light. The motor itself can't compare to ours. When you put both side by side before mods, the Z wins by a bit. When you put both side by side after mods, the Z is in an entirely different league.

Access to the trunk is the specialty of Z, that's a plus man.
If you do basic mod to S2000 would make bigger difference cause the car is light; Z is faster regardless, I'm just saying the difference between a stock S2000/mod S2000.
But come on man, Z looks way better than S2000.
S2000 is freaking small, is a car for a guy under 5'4".

since you have yet to race your cousin, i'll spare you a ticket and possible hummiliation...the s2k won't come close.
if your talking about a 04' mustang GT, the acceleration isn't close either, unless your talking about the mach 1 model. the GT weighs 3400 lbs and has 260 hp. the race between you and the GT must have been pretty close, i dont think you were "pulling" away like you said. my friend is sitting right next to me and he has a 2006 S2k, he thinks your bull ****ting.

sorry but 10 pages of 350z or s2000 was like repeatedly ramming your head into a wall.
