I know what you're saying too because my phone is capable of surfing the web as well. But I say let him do his thing for others that don't have the capability. It's not hurting anybody in anyway so I say keep up the good work.

I need to figure out how to connect via my phone without any extra charges.

I have a LG env I believe as well and need to figure this out. It would be nice to connect while sitting in the airport or car with the cell. ;-)

 

somebody has to create the wap site in order for this to work, remember wap means very few pics, graphs, ect just text ONLY, they just take to long to render. Although I just tried logging onto: wap.yahoo.com on the mda it has a few gif's but mostly just text. Also tried wap.espn.com mostly text but a few decent pics, remember wap is designed for mobile phones that just don't have the processor speed or capability of being on HTML web sites, most decent PDA's can view the web just like viewing from a computer.

All I get a error message when trying to logon, tried several times now.......still a great idea for the wirelessly dis-advantaged

 

I've already been able to access the forum on my Blackberry Pearl. Just installed the Opera Mini browser, and the forum seems to work even better. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anybody that's having some trouble. Just point your phone's browser to operamini.com to see the list of compatible phones.

 

Great idea mini opera, but don't think it will work on a non PDA

 

yeah I have a pda and I get on here all the time to check and post!
I love it, all the pictures show up also and it looks just like a mini site on the phone. I love my Treo!
