So I go out to my Z today after work and notice what appeared to be water spots across the hood and windsheild.
I look up in the sky and some clouds had moved in, so I'm thinking it sprinkled on my car.

I get in, start it up and hit the windsheild washer....no effect on the spots. I hit it again....and again and again, still the spots remain.

I go ahead and drive home thinking that I should go spray my car down later.

I get home and inspect the car...no spots on the roof, no spots on the hatchback, no spots anywhere, except the hood and windshield.

I then touch some of the spots....it's stickey!

I guess someone thought that my Z would enjoy a bath of Sprite or 7-Up or something like that.

What the Hell makes people do such stupid ****?

Bummer. Did you give her a good bath? Can you perhaps park in a more protected, out of the way spot or perhaps park real close to lots of people so vandalism would be noticed?

There are not too many options in the lot. I park in direct site of the front door of the building and grouped with some of my co-workers nice cars(M5, Vette, CTS).

I hadn't had a problem until yesterday....

 

those people are just jealous i guess...

think of the bright side though... those people who have vandalized your car think that 350Z is hotter than A Corvette, or an M5...

 

Were you under a tree by any chance? I have had the same thing happened and I finally figured out it was sap.

Some people are just so dull boring and miserable that they feel that they have to muck up someone elses day so another person can feel as miserable as they do. Poor bas****s! If I ever catch someone messing with my baby, they will be looking down the long end of my .357!

Someone keyed my best friend's H2, definately out of jealousy. People get really stupid and ignorant over certain things. I live in a town where there are more dead than alive. Yeah, the cemetary has more dead people than in the town alive, by far.

I've had people be idiots on the road when they see the Z, but nothing has been physically done to my Z.

Back when my MR2 was brand new though, I parked in front of a movie theater to see a movie. When I came out there were two big fat greasy hand prints in the middle of my hood. WTF?

 

Back in the day, when I had my Civic, I parked at Denny's late night and found a small dent on the hood. Maybe the pornographic magazines we had displayed open on the dash had attracted some attention.
