Do you find it hard to heel toe in your Z?
+1.
"Heel-toe" is frequently "toe-toe". So for all those complaining "Mah feet're too bigs", it should be even easier for you to "heel-toe" (toe-toe).
Of all the cars I've driven so far, my Z is the easiest for me to "heel-toe". Driving shoeless, again, makes it even easier (flared-toes technique).
In other cars, I've even had to place a the tip of the foot on the brake while "rolling" the lateral edge of the foot on the gas (i.e. the old E21 and E30 3-series I used to have).

I also have difficulty heel toeing in the Z but i have nothing to compare it to since it's my first manual. As for heel toeing, it's only meant to be used during aggresive turn taking right?? there should be no need to ever do it during normal driving i think.
I found heal/toe fairly easy on the Z... easiest car I ever found for that oddly enough was a Corvette, pedals are positioned perfectly (at elast for me) to do it.
As for heal/toe in regular driving vs. aggressive... thats up to you. Normally I heel/toe going 2nd from a higher gear when approaching a corner. And when approaching a stop sign or stop light that is about to go gree i'll heal/toe into 1st gear so i'm ready for takeoff. I always revmatch these downshifts too...
Although I don't get the pleasure of doing this anymore now that i'm in an auto...
I do miss a perfectly executed downshift on the track, just so gratifying...

I find that heal toe is pretty easy to do in the Z. However with me, it's more like left-side-of-foot & right-side-of-foot.
I keep part of foot on the brake (big toe side) and roll my foot off onto the throttle as needed (little toe side).
It's become natural for me to do so on every downshift. I also match revs on every shift.

so basically its just a way to rev match while braking? Lets you rev match easier, by not having to take your foot off of the break and then taping the gas to rev, instead saving you those precious miliseconds when your revs would be droping, allowing for a smoother downshift? Is this the idea behind it?
i always wanted to heel toe in the nissan but i never wanted to do it since i am afraid i am going to mess up my clutch or something like that haha, but i just love hearing the engine when it downshifts
