Yesterday a 16 year old was road racing through a residential area in west Tampa (Westchase community) and lost control of his 350z roadster, veered off the road and killed a moped rider on his way into a retention pond.

Note: The reporter called the Z roadster a "convertible Lexus" but we all know how accurate TV reporters are.

 

I hope his parents lose a great deal financially.

16 year olds can drive by themselves or was there someone with him??? I don't see why they don't raise the minimum driving age to 18. Damn spoiled little rich kids really **** me off!

His parents are likely to be sued in civil court. Sucks to be them.

The little rich b!tch won't care that he killed the kid. Hopefully the dead boy has an older brother or a father with anger issues and gets some street justice. If you run over one of mine don't worry about fixing your car or the civil law suit ... worry about me.



The law doesn't extract justice anymore so sometimes men with honor and courage have to take matters into their own hands.

I was not aware you can get a license at 16. wow. bad idea for most people.

Another moron kills an innocent person in a blatant act of stupidity. Sucks that sometimes the result of who lives and who dies is reversed. As well, another ugly mark on us Z drivers for the rest of the world to see.

Let’s just pray for the family of the moped rider. Heck, I’ll even pray for the dumb a$$ driver; hopefully he learned a lesson and won’t kill anyone else.

16...from the states...whats the penalty for something like this? Does he still fall under youth laws or is he trialed as an adult?...wonder if hes gonna get off the hook easily. Hope he gets what he deserves...poor guy on the moped.
