A 2008 San Marino Blue Enthusiast 6MT

I know I don't have the car yet, but before the first of the year, she will be in my garage. Pricing is nearly identical to the 2007 model for those of you who are wondering. '07 Enthusiast invoice price - 27,425. '08 Enthusiast invoice price - 27,499. The wait is going to be agonizing

 

The price difference is very small. Sorta sucks.

I meen id rather have an 08 for resell value and such but at the same time I dont feel like waitin on 08 aftermarket mods, unless 07 items will be able to be used due to the fact that its the same set up? I dont know.

As far as I know, there are no structural/motor/body changes from the 2007 model. The colors offered, however, will be different. Daytona Blue, Redline, and Solar Orange do not carry over to MY2008, and Nogaro Red is added.

what color is the nogaro red???? is it like the redline?? and u just ordered ur car when will u get it?

 

I have no idea! I'm assuming it's a darker shade (I can't see them getting much lighter than redline and not being PINK ).

I was quoted 8-10 weeks, which is about average for ordering a Z, or so I think. So that means it will be here sometime in December (and probably remain in my garage for most of the next couple months lolol)

 

No difference between 07 and 08...Nogaro Red replaces Redline.

 

Yup. The difference in my case was -- 07 ordering was closed and 08 ordering was open and there weren't any SMB Enthu 6MTs on the entire east coast, so you can see why I did what I did

 

So all 07 friendly mods will be usable on the 08?

It cost about USD$53,900 for a brand new 07' down here in New Zealand...
but we do get the RHD JDM model tho....=)

I just think Nogaro is just new name for Redline & not a new color?

lol well, 27,499 is the base invoice pricing on an enthusiast(MSRP is probably around $29,900 or so) and after the options, MD 5% tax, tags, delivery, etc etc it came out to about $30,800 out the door. That's still worlds below $54,000, but I thought I'd clarify.

I hope so too! I think it depends on when you come in to order. I came in when the ordering system had just opened, so they were able to place my order today, whereas if I had come in next week, they would have had to wait a few weeks or so to do so. Regardless, if it does come in later, It's really no bother as it will be seeing a lot of my garage until the winter is over haha

Far as I know ordering for 08's opened on 10/9.
My dealer's October ordering closes tomorrow.
I ordered my car today & will go in tomorrow, 10/12.
I'm told to be happy if it gets here in Jan. but most likely Feb.?
