I had some moron hit my 06z, completely caved in the passenger door and rear quarter panel and drive off while i had it parked. I am sooooooooooooooo pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah my own. i am pissed that it happened, but the fact that someone else did it while it was parked and then left me with the bill just pushes me over the top!!! $500.00 deductable, tons of damage. What is it with people?

 

You should check if there are any cameras around, maybe you can catch the dude!

I did check to see if the security cameras caught anything. There was a hotel with a camera right on my car BUT they said it has been broken for the last month. There wasn't any parts from a broken lense. Just a nice stripe of white paint running the length of the door.

 

they put your claim under uninsured motorists didn't they?

 

Damn that sux dude. I always try to park a mile away from anything whenever possible, but that is hard as hell to do over here in Germany...everything is "euro" sized, which is to say x tra small.

 

That's the funny thing. i do exactly the same thing!!! it is a good couple of minute walk to my car no matter where i go. when i parked it the closest car was about 500 feet away. I am going into this restraunt with my friend and he says why don't you park your car closer. I tell him it is so nobody dings/scratches/nicks/hits my car. We come out and bam!!!

Not sure if you could of "kinda" chase him to get his tags numbers. I'm sure even if it's not your fault, your premium will increase due to your insurance paying it.

color of paint on your car and everything? my buddy got asked a few questions by a cop because someone with a red car did a hit and runa nd he had damaga to his red eagle talon. there is a good chance of catching him if you file a police report

 

That really sucks! I would be pissed too, I guess be glad its fixable bruv, and not coming out of your pocket. I dont think ins. hits you for uninsured motorists.

 

Would a hit and run be considered "Uninsured"?
