The Z salesman at the Fremont event Sunday made no bones about the fact that his owner placed an order for the dealership. He will make the decision to keep the car himself or sell it off the lot after the car comes in. I would imagine the decision will be influenced by how much $ someone off the street is willing to pay. I suspect that their ethics could be stretched to include selling pre ordered cars to high bidding "friends."

It's MT and charcoal interior. My dealer told me that they have no control over it. They just said that it's being push back and they don't know why. I really don't like my dealer because they never keep me inform of anything going on. Everytime i called them, all they said is that NNA will e-mail you directly and if we get any info we will call you. The funny thing is they never called me since Jan. I called NNA and they checked my order and everything and NNA said my car comes in Oct. Oh! I was really excited about the car coming this August but now gotta wait longer.

I know how you feel. I have had the same problems with my original dealer. Told me they would keep me informed with loads of information. The only time I ever hear from them is when I make contact with them. They haven't once reached out to me since Jan 16th, when I ordered the car. I have actually gone to another dealer, in the last few weeks and everything is so much better. They had the same car, Touring, 6MT, with all my options, but in a different color (which was my second color choice anyway). The original person who order the car wants to wait for the convertable, so I am getting this car, and I have a Sept 4th delivery date and a VIN. You might want to call around to any dealers and see if anyone has cancelled their orders. You might get lucky.
