They said that the transaction was Authorized. Therefore they cant do anything.
I'd raise another stink...i was able to get my money back...i'd tell them it was authorized for the part i ordered...not authorized for what they did...
Doesn't the customer dispute form on the back of the CC statement say as one of the options to choose, that, although, the transaction was authorized, the goods were received damaged or something of that nature? Oh well, its probably too much of a headache now for you for a $180. GL, hopefully (highly doubt it) the guy will own up to it and make things right.

yes it does, in fact this is the exact wording on my citi cards when i try to raise a dispute:
Merchandise that was shipped to me arrived damaged and/or defective on (mm-dd-yy). I returned it on (mm-dd-yy). Merchant's response was
(Please provide postal receipt and/or credit slip.)
