I guess no matter how professional you trying to handle things, some people just act like total a**holes.

Too bad this wasnt a local sale. Things would have been taken care of on a less professional level a long time ago.
hes probably a child man sucks people are this way

i didn't read every post in this thread, so forgive me if these ideas were already discussed.

1. did he ship via USPS? if so, that is mail fraud and you should follow the process to report him to the proper authorities.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_fraud

2. did you pay with a credit card via paypal? you can always contest the purchase with your cc if that is true. cc companies are VERY good at going after people for ripping off their customers.

good luck.

2. It has ABS Plastic sticker on the sides when I purchased them. I did not think otherwise. I merely sold what I bought in the beginning. When a product has a sticker on it and says Greddy do I turn around and tell people its Tanabe? Of course NOT.

Guys, I even left my cell phone for him to call me. Which he never did. At the end of the day it was more of a communication problem then the product.
"I probably overstated about the fitment" thats a GOOD one. i thought you said the fitment was perfect...

WHAT A SCAMMER. I hate people like this. good luck getting what you can out of this.

Didn't read your whole thread, but if you haven't already, call your cc co. and file a claim immediately. You can always drop it in the future, if you get your refund. I think we all can see that's prob not going to happen. I think most cc co's give you 90 days to file, so don't miss that window of opportunity. In your case, you've tried to work with him privately, then in public, and it's still not working, so I think it's justified.

Since Paypal didnt want to help me, I went to my bank.
Lets see if they can do anything.

FYI: Paylpal only cares about eBay purchases.
If you purchased anything elsewhere, good luck!

There is no benefit of using paypal over lets say money order besides convenience of quick payment. There will be no protection.

Not true. I had to file a dispute with a member about an exhaust I purchased from a member on here. The item never showed and the seller would ignore my emails and PMs. Anyways paypal took a long time but they eventually worked in my favor. I got my money back in full. Goodluck!

So this still hasn't been settled... that's sad. Give a person a chance to man up, and he punks out.

that is true from my experience.

if it is non ebay, even if you get a box with a dog turd, as long as you recieved something and signed for it, Paypal is out of it.
