Rip 350z 2003-2007 Eulogy Included
After 4 years, my Z journey has finally come to an end. The Zed was brought to its death by a 16 year old girl who failed to yield and crossed three lanes of traffic to smoke my car. All the airbags deployed in both cars and the accident was over in a second. Greatfully, no one was injured.
Eulogy for my Z
My Redline Z was a great car. She was born in 2003 and promptly began being modded. I'll never forget that first year with all the open mouthed stares and the compliments while filling up at the gas station. She really enjoyed going to all the local meets in Chicago and seeing all the other Z's. She really knew how to turn heads. She first touched the racetrack in 2004 and spent the next two years of her life traveling to and from tracks around the country and having a blast. I'll never forget the perfect 4 wheel drift we did entering the Boot just a little too fast at Watkins Glen. She took care of me to her death. Her track duties came to an end in 2005 when she was de-moded and coverted back to a street car. She spent the last few years of her 48k life puttering around the streets of my hometown and going on occasional back road drives. She was well taken care of and got frequent hand washes and recieved constant pampering with all manner of exotic waxes. She will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear that dude
. Glad to hear nobody was hurt.
It's never the same. I for one, no matter how much I love the car could drive the same car again after a bad accident.

Sorry to hear that. I just barely avoided an accident yesterday on Rt.59 in Naperville. The kid who almost hit me was driving in a F150, he didn't have his license, just a permit. And if you don't want another Z, maybe get a G35 or if you wanna be extra baller, get a GT-R
And I completly agree with Z04 abour raising it to 18. It can't hurt to atleast try it out for a few years.

Very sorry to hear of your accident. Perhaps the point should be made that the crush system in the front substructure of your Z functioned perfectly. Besides the airbags deploying, and seatbelts tensioning, your Z protected you to the very end. That you could walk away from such a shunt with no injuries is a testament to the engineering that went into the car.

edit: It doesn't matter what the age for drivers license is your gonna have the same problem with unexperienced drivers.

sorry to hear about the loss man. Hope things work out for the best and that youre feeling ok this morning.
Sorry about your loss, at least no one got hurt.
The driving age really ought to get raised, 16 is way too young. I didn't start driving until I was 19 and looking back, I'm grateful that I started driving when I had and understood more about grown up responsibilities.
