Squealing was the only problem I've had. Replaced the pads with Hawk ceramic pads and slotted rotors.

Something threw me off in the last Consumer Reports magazine. They stated that most cars designed to run on 91 can run on 87 with no problems.

I know we are use to Nissan reliabilty and cars that last forever but have you guys ever visit the Porsche Forum? They complain about the same problems from accelerated brake wear, suspension problems, tire feathering, knicks on the nose of the vehicle apparently high performance vehicles have these problems unless you put high dollar ceramic brakes on the car. Or build high performance suspensions or clear coat the nose.

Some of these things are just price you pay for turning closes radius, stopping shortest distance, and going fast!! It cause wear.

Come to think of it, Donsred350Z is right on the nose! Squeak or no squeaks,
our monZters ARE reliable: NO cooling system issues, no AT issues [not so with the MTs!], no brake system issues, 'xept for the dust & shrieks...Our Zeds are above-average Sports cars, guys! Not too many vehicles in that class can claim the same!

05 here, only complaint was massive brake dust on the front. Although I got dust free brakes, they really suck(they don't bite like the stock ones) I would not recommend them. I had brake bias at one point but I think it was due to bald tires, it disappeared with new tires.

my breaks work fine... I was just thinking the other day how well they worked. Pre-mature wear, maybe, I havent experienced this as of yet.
