Default Rich kids = Z?

i have been looking at threads for a while now, and i've noticed that in pictures, the Zs and Gs are often parked in front of NICE houses. very nice........too nice. nice enough to lead me to believe that the people who hold the deed, don't own a Z/G.

so seriously, be honest, how many people are rich kids (save the "i got the car myself" crap)?

There is little logic to that. If you can afford a nice house, you can probably afford another 300 a month payment.

If my parents were rich and they offered to buy me a Z, I would take it. Why do people hold grudges against rich kids? If I was in the position, I would like to be able to buy my kids decent cars. My Z was only $26,000 brand new off the lot with 8 miles, I would call that decent, we aren't driving cars with flux capacitors.

true, but i would also buy a BETTER car, since most folks who buy big fancy houses often care about image, thus not wanting a Nissan/Infinity.

i hold no grudges..........

i do get annoyed at the kids who think they should ever talk about anything like their earned it. if mommy and daddy got me a nice car, i would be cool with it. but i also wouldn't act like my shizzle didn't stink, i would actually mention that i didn't buy **** on my own. turns out, rich kid isn't an actual social status.

I would never consider my family rich, my dad busts his as to give me and my sisters stuff, and like fingers said it is 26,000 new. Alot of my friends have trucks that cost way more than that and i don't think people see kids in trucks and call them rich, the Z is just a great looking car, be happy that you could get yourself one and that people actually respect it as a nice car

im going to take a stab in the dark and assume that i and my picture are one of the ones you're talking about (not saying that the house is extra super nice or anything but it fits 5 of us and has a 3 car garage...thats about the extent of it)

i promise you this isn't going to be an online pissing contest so don't get ready to come up with a witty smart response...me and 4 other friends split the rent on the house ($1875/month) it's been working out for all of us for over a year now...leaves plenty of money over for a used z and insurance, food, cell, gas and bla bla bla bla

i WILL agree that most of the time the two (car and house) do equal douche bag rich kid but SOME of us do work 45+ hours a week and take night courses on the weekends...

Ur right in saying people who care about there images would not want a nissan or infinity. But were not exactly driving versa's either. A 350z Is still high end in a sense. It may be considered entry level sports car. But its a sports car. It's better then having a civic si in ur driveway. I'd even put it above a bunch of bmw's since EVERYONE has one. I mean.. You need a porche or top notch model bmw or mercedes.... Juss my 2 pennies.

No, rich kids get ML320's.

I would say upper middle class, but not rich.

Not true! I know many rich people that have a z or g. As a matter of fact my dads neighbor wanted a z so bad that he bought a model of one that his wife just recently gave me. If it was his choice he would have had the 6spd z. His wife made him get the g35 coupe auto. Everytime I c him he lets me know how much he wants my car.
besides why would you want to spend more on a car? The z for the money outperforms many cars that are twice its price! I've beat porche boxters and carreras. I've also beat a masserati etc etc.

no lie this was said by a female friend of mine yesterday...

"the lexus is MY car...my dad paid for it in FULL and gave it to me as a present for getting my license" - Dumb Blonde Hoe

her dad invented some sort of new beer tap thing and her brother got a h3 for his 16th birthday...

uhhh..........who cares how much it costs new?

if your dad "busts his ***" than he cannot afford a 26k car for his kid. PERIOD.

most people from a normal working class family had a car that was 2 grand or less........and that's pushing it.

just saying..............i don't care what people have. BUT! people who don't work to pay every penny of anything they own need an asterisk near their comments regarding that they were handed things in life.

if your parents buy you anything worth more than 2 grand, they are either doing really well OR VERY VERY VERY stupid.

in no way is a Z is a high end car. if people is rich enough, they would of gotten a lotus elise or exige, 6 series, grt, etc. people buy the Z base anyways, only 28k..that is not consider "rich"...

I know what you what you mean but that's not what you posted. You said that just because a Z is parked outside of a nice house it leads you to believe they aren't home owners.

Why have other peoples financial situations been the topic of conversation around here lately?

I pay for my Z, I'm eighteen, but I don't pay to live with my parents. And, we've got a pretty nice house. Not crazy nice, but nice.
