Default Nissan Key edited....

Hi guys, I had an idea regarding our "Z" key but I couldn't make it hope anyone out there can do this.

I found out that we could make a custom "Z" sticker or emblem to stick it on our Key like the 350Z Value Cap with "Z" logo on it.
or we could chromeplated the Nissan Logo on our key. so it will looks like JDM Z key with the nice nissan logo on it.

Let me know if anyone able to make it?
What do you guys think about it? Anyone interested if available?
I think this is the best way to solve our Ugly "Z" key

I know it is trivial, but I was dissapointed in the key when I first got it.

I know no one else sees it and all, but still, with the trillions of Z's on the car, I thought for sure the key would follow suit.

I'de buy it,

Nop nothing to do with motorcycles... Why do you ask that? Does any motorcycles in the state use the same name as well?

Whatever mod you do to the key, you have to be sure you don't mess up the chip inside otherwise, the key won't work to start the car.

I was upset when I saw the keys for the 350Z, I love my Z32 Titanium key as well as my Audi key.

I agree, the 300zx key from the 90's totally owns. I was really dissapointed with our generic keys.

The remote is separate, not in the key itself.

The chip works as an antit-theft device. The ignition won't start unless you have the key. The ignition "recognizes" the chip in your key and allows it to start the engine.

Now you know you're driving a sweet car when you're complaining about the design of the key. Don't get me wrong, a unique key to match the unique Z would have been the best scenario. But folks, lets not forget that Nissan would not have been alive if it was not for Renault. What is important for Renault and Nissan now is to make lots of profit from the Z's and their other cars. That means cutting corners on things like R&D on keys, and sharing keys / fobs / chasis / motors etc with Nissans more mundane volume selling vehicles. Perhaps when Nissan is financially healthier, we may get a better looking key to go with the Z.
