I had 02 ZX6r and it was ok, but looking back i would have rather put my money into the car. Bikes can only be ridden seasonally where as you can drive the car all the time (well depending on where you live, thus would also negat the bike).

Its your decision and depending if you have friends that ride also. That was the biggest reason i got mine was because my friends were riding too, but when they all sold their bikes, my bike pretty much just sat there (until it was stolen).

you'll probably live longer with exterior mods to the Z, but sports bikes are nice even though i'll probably never get one for that reason.

I say sportbike, i ride a 00 gsxr750, your z will never give you the same feeling that a sportbike can, take it to a road course and get addicted...that you'll live longer **** is stupid, most people you hear about dying are the ones doing stand-up wheelies through rush hour traffic and slamming in the back of a semi....if you are mature enough for it, i say get the bike.

Personally I would buy a used sportbike (although I would actually never buy anything used) with about 3000 miles or less in one of those "i need to sell because this bike is too fast' or 'had a baby' 'wife hates it' 'lost job, need cash' classified adds, as long as it has never been down.

On the other hand if you bought a bike, you'd probably end up wanting to mod that, which will take away from z mods. Plus you will have the added costs of bike insurance, maintennace, tires, regestration, gas, oil, speeding tickets etc.

Nobody here can tell you what you should do really. How much do you love bikes? How much you love your Z?

Sometimes I miss my 2003 R1 but now that I have the Z and buying a new 4x4 later this year, I don't need another sportbike. The z takes care of the speed dept and the truck takes car of the dirt bike (which I had a few years ago) dept. So maybe in a couple years I might get a KLR 650 enduro (since they finally redesigned it) or an enduro that has more umph than the KLR. Or maybe another R1 LOL (doubt it)

bike... its fun, or if you go the other way you can buy ALOT of stuff for the bikes people are listing (my personal choice is either the 05 or 06 kawy 636) imho the best bike out there

Bike,

You will never truly ever have the feeling you have on a bike anywhere else. It is amazing.

If I had to do it all over again, I would get the same bike I got and never look back!

Rims and Suspension FTW!!!! It doesn't matter how you ride on the bike, some idiot driver could take everything away in a heartbeat. You'll have a better chance on the road in a car.

If you are mature enough to handle it get a bike. I took my Z as far as I wanted mod wise and i just got an R6 3 months ago. You will drive slower in your Z after. Plus looking at your garage with your Z and your bike sitting there all pretty is pretty damn pleasing.

Why not add a pickup truck and kitchen remodeling?
