Doug…… your good with numbers… help me out with this, cause I didn’t pick up a copy of the final invoice when I paid Sharif…. Why you ask …..because he and I are both people of integrity…. Doug.

6 piston stoptechs fronts
4 piston stoptechs rears
Staggered set of 19in volk te37’s
Set of PS2’s
Sharif’s slick 2 fan cooling unit
Tien flex coilover…. No controller…. Knew you’d ask
Reflash
Repaired feul tank …. Don’t ask

Previous set of rollers
Staggered set of TSW20in Nogaros
Toyo Proxus 4’s
Fenders rolled

And you know all about the audio….. apparently it should have been free.

I purchased the car new $36,000.00

Add all that up that’s like $100,000 Douglas…. Much to my chagrin.

Call it what you want maybe you need more details… I’ve got all night

for $100,000.00 you could bought a ZO6 vette or even the new ZR-1, ACR Viper, exige.....

I don't think someone would lie about spending that kind of money on a Z, but why? Everytime I look at modding I think hell just buy a vette or factory five cobra and keep the Z as a DD in time.

Absuluteley agree… it just all went south after the motor let go. The car should be a lot of fun though.

I don’t want a US sports car but definitely a Porsche GT2 or GTR ....one's 200g’s the other’s 18months away for us mortals.

Look bro… I’m a business owner. I also own a metal fab shop. I could have done all this work myself. And I cannot stand people like you… you can always get a better price…. I’m sure you’re always the expert. I don’t have a problem paying a professional to do his job… it’s good for the economy. And if they stick me for a little, trust me I’ll pass it on to the next guy. I’m not going to embarrass either of us haggling over every detail. If I can’t afford it, I don’t do it. And last I checked you weren’t writing my checks, and last I checked I wasn’t short of cash. So maybe you should change your ways and the karma train will smile on you.

Lessons learned from those of you that haven’t killed yourselves yet
1. GO TO FORGED FIRST…. FIRST AND SECOND
2. set a budget and a timeline for your mods…. Or you’ll dump a ton of dough
3. Big power “Z”s are expensive… if you’re on a tight budget. May want to start with another car
4. you gonna lose you A$$ when you sell it… so keep it and love it

now … who wants to see my old lady's A$$?

thats some crazy $$ (i have respect for those of you who stick that much money into your cars). after takeing such a loss on my old B18 (bought for 8k put 7k into it, sold for 6300 two years later. ), im stopping at 300whp, then hopefully moveing on to something different like the new GT-R.

Dude atleast it makes some sense for a Z. There are people that drop that kinda flow on a Buick Regals and Ponitac Grand Prixs. There is no method to the madness.

I usually don't post, but rather just view the threads, but after reading this thread I had to post. Fightmoves, you are the man. It's sad that you have to prove things to all these people/haters who really don't matter... But it's also cool that you are able to back up what you say if you choose to. Keep up the good work and congrats on your successful businesses, new baby, and hot girlfriend. I'm one to congratulate the next man because I'm happy with my life.. I guess alot of these guys aren't though... Makes you wonder!

LOL at this thread.

I feel for you OP. I have the same Catch 22 in certain social circles (you're either a braggart or a liar). I won't elaborate because the piranhas around here don't need to know that much about my personal life.
