I'm fairly new to the Z world. I've been a Honda freek ever since I got my license. My last car was a '97 Prelude and now I want a 350Z. I've got some mixed input from some friends about them, but I'm looking for more information. What would be a good year to start with. It seems like the '06 has what I'm looking for, but is there any year that has less problems than another (i.e. tires, creaking in the rear, etc.). I can't wait to get one so please help me out.

 

07 has the new engine. If you can afford it, look into that.

If you can afford it go for the 07. If you can't... any year is fine, just drive it to make sure the tranny, rear diff, etc are all in good shape.

 

Get a 07 if you can afford one. It's got faster new engine. It's got a ugly hood as well but not that bad. If you can't, get what ever year except for maybe 03 if you can afford to go with newer models. As for models. If you like sporty goodies get Track, but they are usually more expensive. Touring for Leather, if not, ehthusiasts. You can get base if you are gonna get a L.S.D(that's a must) and have no need for Traction control, cruise control. If you can afford it, get a rev-up motor... Good luck!

Oh ya one more thing.... don't get an AT....

I realize what you're getting at, but the way you're doing it is only going to get negative responses on this board. I defend Hondas when I think necessary, but just dissing 350s on a 350 board isn't going to get you anywhere. Don't make us Honda owners look bad.
