Well I had a project RX7 car a few months back..but traded it for the 350z. My bro-in-law gave me the RX7, and bought himself a Z. Then he wanted to trade the Z with me for the RX7 back, so yea, it's all in the fam.
I know that with the RX7, you are suppose to redline the car once a day to let all of the carbon out...but would it also be the same for a Z? Or is it just because the 7 is a rotary engine and more fragile?
I would "assume" that I would have to do the same for the Z...since it would help all of the carbon get out of the engine and basically help keep it "clean" and stronger. Is it true or am I just making it up?
So yea...would it be the same for Z as it were with the RX7?
Thanks in advance for the replies.
Also if ya'll would like..I could post pics up of the RX7 but it will be in 2 weeks...and most likely this thread would be dead already
if it is new, the manual says don't go over 4k rpm for first 1200 miles, so your question is a little on the dumb side, kind sir. my apologies for pointing that out. don't bother telling me your opinion on break-in, I'm just pointing out that there could be a very good reason he hasn't redlined it.
