My friend has been running regular (87) in Z since he bought it with 15 miles, now he has 92,000 miles and no problems

 

Has anyone ever used the Scan Gauge II that the 'hypermiler' MPG freaks use to monitor real time MPG? Seems like that wouldn't be a bad tool to reveal and possibly break gas guzzling habits. As an aside, here's a pretty interesting read, from the guy that got over 100mpg out of a Prius:

Most hypermilers that I know prefer the Honda Insight and think that the Prius is a POS.
