Karma? Karma? You're joking right?

So what was the horrible thing that you did to deserve your car getting smashed twice?

Oh right, Karma only works in one direction right?

Riiiiight. =P

If you have an accident like the OP's, and you DON'T claim injury, you are going to get shortchanged and shafted by the insurance company and you won't get nearly what you should.

Keep in mind that he's going to have to deal with the hassle of finding a new car, he may have to miss time from work to deal with some of this, and certain things in his life could be off-track for a little while.

The insurance company doesn't care about those things, so it is your responsibility to make sure you get all the $$ you deserve.

Don't worry about it partner, you aren't stealing from anyone.
Are you agent/broker?? So what you are saying is the insurance company doesnt care about loosing money??

WOW... Glad you're not dead or missin a limb!

I can't help but chuckle at the thought of this happening, if you know where I'm coming from.

I guess you can be a bit happy that instead of driving a car that was repaired, you'll be reimbursed to get a new car.

I'm sure it hurts with the fact that you bought it new, and just witnessed it being completely wrecked.

You'll have better days ahead of you. Good luck!

Pretty much saying that he could get away with it and to not care, because Insurance companies have some of the biggest coffers without anyone really knowing where the money goes.

Insurance is pretty much like the oil industry for your health. Don't feel bad.

Just be glad that you were not at fault and the insurance company should compensate you...then you could put that dough towards a 370Z

I feel for you though...seriously...but I think it will all work out in the end.

Can't believe all the scammers in here. I'm glad someone brought up the analogy of maximizing profit from selling something. If the OP has real medical issues (a valid claim) then he should be compensated accordingly. Kind of like selling a product for as much as you can in an honest manner. As far as I'm concerned lying and making a false claim is no different than lying about something you're selling here on the forum to get more money. Hey, you're just trying to maximize money in your greedy money worshiping pocket right?

So many greedy people, standing in line waiting for their handouts. You scammers are no different than the trailor trash that stages accidents in super markets so they can "get paid". So sad....

It's a weak person that bases their ethics and morals based on what someone else would do or what they can get away with.

Oh and congratulations to the OP, you appear to have some integrity which appears to be pretty rare these days. I'm glad you were unhurt.

I've added pictures I took this evening at the salvage yard. I said my final goodbyes as I took out some items in the busted trunk.

Ok so the insurance companies are going to have to fight over who pays what. Your best interest would be to fill a claim with your insurance settle the total. Actual Cash Value is the specific value of your vehicle less any prior damage, which would be impossible to say since your car is damaged all over. They will then pursue the companies to pay you back. As far as the loan, the Z is worth well over $6k. They will pay the lien holder what you owe and pay the additional to you. Most states are e-titles now, so you will have to sign Power of Attorneys. I am an insurance adjuster and can answer any other questions you might have?

Holy shyte what is the chance of that crap happening in one sitting??!?!

I'm glad you're alright - that is the main concern, at least physically. Stupid speeding beeotches in their rush to get the turkey in the oven.

Take care bro.
