I would flip this into a positive. Assuming no injuries, I would rather have a written off Z, than a repaired Z.

I am really sorry to har about your Z. Glad that your ok. I cant imagine what it would be like to watch your car be hit once let alone twice in the same day.

Geeez, I'm glad your okay. It sucks having to deal with a wreck. At least yours was totalled. Mine wasn't and it never felt the same again...

 

^Yeah, that's true. You would have lost a lot more $$ if it was repairable on the trade in value and it probably wouldn't drive the same.

My previous car was totaled, insurance cut me a check for the value and I used it as a down payment on a new car. I lost like one year's worth of car payments with my loss, so I feel ya.

 

Thanks for the overwhelming response and support. I've been a member since 05 and as you can see I haven't posted much. I really observe and gain as much car knowledge, tips, advice on this page.

If anyone knows someone who is selling their Z - I would be interested. I live in the DFW (Texas) area.

Glad you are okay man, nothing wrong with a Corolla lol... I am selling my Z to my friend for what I paid for it and getting a Ford Focus 07 5k on the clock for 7 grand through my uncle who owns a dealership.

If I was you id wait it out like I am for the new Z and see how things are then. Good luck and hope you feel better, and its just a car you be okay.

I'm so sorry man. I hope you can get your new car from insurance very soon and start feeling better. I probably would have shed tears. But my first reaction to the fedex truck hitting my car a 2nd time would have been laughter... it's freakin ridiculous!
