Default 350Z Issues

Is there a thread where i can readup on the most common issues for the Zs?? I purchased a 2006 Touring 2 weeks ago, and im just curious to see what the common problems are for the Zs. If there is a link can someone post it up please. Thanx.

Most people are going to tell you to use the search feature. here yah go...

Just type in problems on the search bar. Usually 06's have that Oil problem.

Rev ups/2006s have oil consumption issues. They burn oil basically. The problem ranges to no problems at all to a quart every 500miles I believe.

hmm sounds interesting, i will keep my eye out on the oil consumption then. How about tranny problems and other engine problems with the Zs?? Any common ones that i should look out for??

I just bought a 2006 Touring Roadster last week too. I guess that I'll be checking the oil a couple of times a week as I drive 750 miles a week!

i think the tranny issues were just with the '03's. i wouldve hoped they got that fixed by '06

but yeah oil comsumption. keep an eye open.

I purchased a 2006 new and with 25K miles have had no problems.

After joining these threads (3/'08), it appears that the '04, '05, & '07 models
are the least-problem-riddled ones. I bought an '04 Touring Coupe in Feb. &, so far, it's been a honeymoon-like deal!
