I say, call an attorney. Don't b!tch out. Do it. The dealership mislead you to buy a car that is not what they claimed it to be. If they want to sell you a "Grand Touring" for that price, then the car better come with everything that a "Grand Touring" is supposed to have. Brembos aren't cheap. Tell them that they can buy and install some Brembos with their "employee discount" and save themselves some court costs or yeah, you'll see them in court.
edit: Oh and yeah... there's 13 entries on carfax.com for that VIN, so I hope they gave you your carfax report as well.

Yeah, I almost bought a messed up Z from Gwinnett. Thank god I didn't, the thing was really messed up, and was one dollar under kbb. Salesman also kept trying to convince me into different colors and and to try out convertibles. They were pretty damn shady. I had to drive out to Conyers to get mine.

lets get straight..I know its my fault too but i dont think its all my fault that i bought a Z that states GT but its T.
Nissan shouldn't make any mistake first place and they shouldn't give me any offers if they didn't do anything wrong =)

"See you in court" time =)
Good Luck Nissan.
First of all, the dealership is responsible.
Second, it sounds like it goes beyond just being sloppy. It sounds like they are turning a trick. Here's how I see this working:
-Dealership has new 350ZR Touring on the lot
-Employee (manager) buys said 350ZR Touring at employee discounts for 350ZR Touring pricing
-Employee drives car for 2X,XXX miles
-Employee decides to get a new 350Z
-Employee sells 350ZR Touring to dealership for 350ZR GRAND TOURING pricing (he's the manager so I wonder how hard it would be to pull off...Hmmm..)
-Dealership sells used 350ZR Touring to yogi for 350ZR GT pricing
-Employee and dealership end up ahead
-Yogi is one screwed dude
I'd definitely take this to court. The proof you have of selling you the wrong car is very strong and the circumstantial evidence that the dealership and manager were in cahoots is enough to deter them from fighting you and could even get the dealership investigated.
Speaking of investigated, I believe there is an agency in most states that handles dealerships directly/specifically. There's a similar thread from someone on here that talks about this option in more detail. Apparently, the agency investigated the dealership and they gave up to avoid fines, etc. he had further problems, but that was not related.

What blastoff is trying to say is that Nissan is a manufacturer and not related to the dealership's decision to rip you off. The dealership is who you should hate, not the manufacturer. If you go to a used music store and they sell you a CD and the CD is scratched, do you now hate the band?
GL to you.
BTW, what is your native language?

I'm not about to argue whether this person should seek legal council about his vehicle, but just to let you know that Grand Touring Roadsters don't come with the Rays Forged Wheels. Instead, the Roadsters get the 35th anniversary 5 spoke rims just like every other trim for 2006-2008. Only the Grand Touring Coupe and Track model come with those wheels for 2006, and only Grand Touring Coupe for 2007-2008:

If you consider the wheel upgrade vs. brake upgrade, it almost evens out, whether you buy new or used. New is about $4k for either set at the dealership, and used is about half that amount. If you're really feeling sour grapes over the Brembo Brakes, then ask them if they'd go 50/50 on the dealer cost and give them the OEM set, which should include the front/rear calipers, pads, rotors, brake lines, master cylinder, etc.

When a contract is signed, BOTH parties have rights AND responsibilities. See a lawyer (a free consultation!), & briefly explain what's going on; but do this
ASAP, 'cause corporate lawyers will use any alibi to get the Dealer off the hook, including a time-frame issue! Good luck.

...BTW, thanks to these threads, I've learned car dealers EVERYWHERE are
shysters! So, my dirt list pans out: Lawyers, politicians, car salesmen. You
gotta go PREPARED (i.e. do you homework prior to buying your beast!).

Yogi, just FYI, the stock brakes on the 2006 were significantly upgraded. They are closer in size to the Brembos than they are to the stock pre-2006 brakes. Of course, they are not Brembos.
Moral of the story is always read the fine print and NEVER buy a used sports car...
Im sorry but I just gotta say if the OP didnt see (read the contract carefully) this before leaving the lot, I shudder to think what kind of real shape this car is in (mechanicals etc..)
