Saved up $1700, Need advice on 1st mod to my car.
Hey everyone, ive been saving up money for a couple months now and i am ready to finally get my 1st major mod done to my 06 mb touring z. Here is a list of what i have done to the car since i bought it brand new in 06/06.
-Acura RDX antenna
-OEM Spoiler
-15% window tint
-And some brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position just installed on all 4 wheels.
I like the way the car looks stock body wise, and i don't want to waste any money on engine mods cause i will be going F/I in a year or so, so basically what im leaning towards is suspension/wheels/drivetrain mods. If you guys could please give me some advice on a really good mod thats worth the money and will give me better performance out of my car. Im definently considering ordering some Coilovers as my first mod, and ive seen some good deals. Any advice appreciated.

why would he buy a intake if he's planning on going FI a waste of money?
YOU CAN BUY SUPPORTING MODS FOR YOUR ENGINE EVEN IF YOUR GOING FI. SUCH AS PLENUM SPACER, EXHAUST, GEARS, DONT FORGET BRAKES YOU NEED TO STOP.

A jwt popcharger doesn't do **** but make noise and maybe gain a consistent 1 hp gain worth the money i don't know about that. he can get gears and that would do so much more for him than a pop charger.

Thanks for all the replies guys, im in the process of getting rid of my s14 240sx project i got going on since i decided that i would rather drive my z than my 240. I don't plan on tracking the car, and i am really just looking to keep this 350z as a street car since it will be my daily driver. I don't think i have enough right now to spend on a really good bbk, and since i just got new tires on my stock rims i don't want to get any wheels, but i know that i will need them down the road. I love the handling of the z stock, and can't imagine how much better it could get with some suspension mods. Kinda stuck on what to get, but thanks for all the idea's so far! plz keep em comin...

An EMS to start. Will be my first mod., though the car I purchased already came with an Invidia G200 True Dual Exhaust System and an intake, Coilovers and wheels, so I was set in that aspect at least. But, I learned in my MR2 that nothing beats having an EMS ALREADY as you get pick up future mods for your car. Just my .02 cents. Good luck.
