Default The Ship Has Docked, won't be long now

Finally my dealer told me that on his printout today it shows my Z as "In Process" meaning that the ship has docked and they are being unloaded, going through customs, putting on the Aero Package and all that other good stuff. I live 6 1/2 hours away from the dock so hopefully I should have it at the end of next week.

How long once the ship docked was it till you recieved your Z?

I CAN'T FREAKIN WAIT!

Can I ask when you placed your order for your Z??

I'm still waiting for mine.

2003 I didn't exactly place the order. They were getting one in that was the color and trim I wanted. Delivery date on the sheet is July 23rd. I hope I get it before then the wait is killing me.

I have been waiting for 26 days since I went to the dealer.

Congratulations. Mine actually came in 10 days before the delivery date, so keep your hopes up.

Mine was scheduled for July 20 and it came in on June 28. Their was a hailstorm in Tennessee and it damaged the Z's that were coming in before mine and that made mine come in early....

Default Hang in there...

I've wanted a Z since I first heard about the car. I first saw one in person at a dealership in September last year. It took me until last month to get my finances in order to buy one. I took delivery 07/03/03 (a week ago today)!

Hang on ... the longer the wait, the more pleasure when first drive your OWN!

Peace

Won't by October, the 2004's be out? That seems really late for them to still be shipping 2003's over. I was figuring that this boat was bringing the last of the 2003's.

I call my dealer on monday to see if it moved to "in Transit". I hope so bad it is here by Tuesday or Wednesday. Does anyone know how long it takes to go through customs and all the crap they do before they actually get on the truck for delivery? I can't see it being down there for more than 2 days before it's on the truck for delivery. Maybe I am just being optomistic.

I've heard something like 2 weeks or so until you receive delivery. If I'm not mistaken, off the boat it goes to a train which then goes to the local dropoff point to be switched to a trailer semi which then delivers to the dealer.

Ok, my dealership placed my order June 2nd, and I still don't know when it's coming in, no delivery date or anything. Plus, he told me they were built in the USA, right in Tennesee, which would mean no customs, no unloading off a boat, etc. I wonder if he's full of it?

oh man...*shakin my head* poor soul. There is no wondering if your dealer is full of it.

These cars are ONLY made in Japan.
