That is!
I have been out of work since June. I can totally understand what you are going through. I'm a designer and if you think it's tough finding an Engineering slot try it with out the degree. I have been maintaining airplanes for 16 years and designing them for 8 of those. The entire industry is the worst I have ever seen it. I'm even thinking of going back to college to get my degree, Major in Aerospace and minor in Mechanical. Maybe you could send me your books
Good luck to you

If you want really good aircraft design books, get the 8 part series "Aircraft Design" by Dr. Jan Roskam. (They are sometimes known as the rainbow books because they each have a different colour.) I wouldn't give up mine for anything (especially cause I have tons of notes in them now).

Boeing - St. Louis

Not too far from most of the family and friends (Independence, MO), but far enough to seem someplace new and different.

I officially start the 15th. I have all my paper work completed and sent in. I have to show up for about an hour on the 12th to get my badge and finish with some of the last paper work.

I am moving to St. Louis on Sunday (7th). I only have 30 bucks left in my bank account and really looking forward to my first paycheck. At least I have CC until then.

Thanks. Yeah, the benefits seem outstanding.

I'm sorry, but your too funny shock. I'm in the same boat as you, except I have NO idea when I will be getting mine. I'm heading to the air force in December and thats just beginning. I won't even be getting payed enough until after the tech training, which is almost a year for the job they gave me. I have about a year left . Ah well, let us know when you get that bad boy, and take some pics too.
