well you can get the nismo headers, nismo exhaust, nismo intake, nismo competition Head Kit, nismo camshaft, nismo low compression piston & rod kit, nismo forged connecting rods, nismo brake pads, nismo clutch and flywheel, nismo lsd, nismo coilovers, nismo sway bars, nismo radiator & oil cap, and nismo wheel with some dr's all from nissan and installed by them.

Now i wouldent consider that stock.

Fair enough. Makes me reconsider my understanding of the term. Thanks!

I cant keep my car stock. Its a bland canvas. Wheels and coilovers make the car sooo much different, why would i try to be like everyone else?

You should buy your turbo Lancer back.

If I were going to do anything tires and rims would be the second thing after a stereo.
+1

personally id do the exact same thing but in reverse order ;D. the 6 disc setup is ok for now so I would rather get rims.

In before vtak kicks in, yo!!!!

if you're stock and browsing this forum, that just means you're just broke as fok, and you should hurry up and finish school, or get a better job.

There should be a website for stock Z's:

There would only be two sub-forums:

"Off topic" and "Repair & Maintenance"

I wish man, school was a blast its office days 'till death these days. Not broke as "fok" as you put it... but that is relative, i have to admit i am still saving up for my first house but anyway, at this time i guess the car is still "new" to me so who knows maybe i will catch the "bug" some day, just have not been into mods on any of my cars so far (again, i have to admit, i've never kept a car over 2 years so far).

As for browsing the forum, if i cant ask a simple question and mentioning being comfortable with "stock" draws instant personal attacks... i guess i should not browse these forums, i just thought the Z community was different, but hey you live and learn, right?

Unfortunately, all forums are like this....you basically have two types of people. The ones who are genuinely nice, friendly and want to help others and then you have the ones who think they know everything and blast "use the search feature" if you start a thread thats been talked about before.

Comment not directed at anyone, just stating my experience.

I plan on keeping mine stock for some time....at least until the warranty runs out. I do want to do certain things but they arent considered modding. Clear cover on the front and I guess the only thing other than that is a cold air intake...damn...I guess that is considered a mod. lol

Tried keeping it stock....lasted about 7-8 months and then I couldn't fight it anymore! Its a learning experience, a hobby, and a goal all rolled into one.

Don't seat it Tubonium, many people, including many of the moderators, have an extreme desire to display that they enjoy having a stick up their ****.

Changes to my car (some pending):

1. iPod Kit, because Nissan didn't offer anything OEM.
2. Coilovers and sway bars, because I wanted to tighten up the handling and take performance driving lessons.
3. Aftermarket headers, HFC's, exhaust, and lightweight clutch/flywheel, because they add HP/tq and/or reduce weight.

All of those tweak the Z, but keep the lines the same. I'm not a fan of body mods unless it's a full kit.
