I like the fact they have a trunk and a kinda backseat

the G is really not kicking in, i thought it would feel the same like the Z, but the Z is just a different kind of animal

screw luxury, who wants that when u are aiming for a sports car

the G doesnt even seem to be a luxury car, i think it failed at that as well

As technically similar as the G and Z are, through the years I've come to the realization that you can't substitute one for the other.

Contrary to popular belief, the feel and the attitude are completely different.

At least they still sound the same, and you're not 'missing' a backseat.

I always thought that even though they have the same powerplant, they are tuned differently & the suspension on the G is a lot softer than the Z.

I was close to buying a G last year, and instead I bought another Z. After reading this, I am so happy that I didn't switch camps

Wow, I really dig the G. I think they are beautiful. I drove a few of course, youre correct IMO, they are TOTALLY different cars. Both perform well for the $ but one is a somewhat raw sports car the other is well a family, luxury car with grunt. Both serve a purpose. Thats why I, as well as this forum chose the Z, we dont NEED or WANT backseats or the softer, cushier ride. We wanted a sports car...

Went from Z to G, no regrets at all. Sure they feel different, but that is what the aftermarket is for.

Plus, I think the G is sexier overall...
