Well said. It's gonna be a better car (at least we hope so) anyway, and probably what the Z should have been to start. I think it's more expensive though, base price in the low-mid 30s.

 

Looks like in a year or 2 half of the people in this board are getting a gtr*yea right*. If you going to down 50+thou, make sure you own a house first, wealthy , or both.
As for the 370z, i have not own a z in my life but i know for a fact if i did and you ask me this question, i'm going to be bias. Many people hated the HR hoods but what happened. Many hate on the headlights *which look more aggressive* but common, small changes on the body and you get a new engine 3.7 and less weight? From the pictures we've seen so far, i don't mind pulling up to you with a new Z.
I bet more then half of the people in this board would choose the 370 over the 350 if they had to start over with there purchase. Almost like pretend you never owned the 03-08 Z before.
Don't get me wrong, I love the design of the current Z's but something better engine wise/weight/new and body still similar to the current ones, hands down 370.
One more thing, if my car is coming out with a newer model next yr, i would net pick the crap out of it because why? My ride is going a BIT out dated and the value is going to drop, so yea, i would be bias.

I don't really know why, but 370 doesn't roll of the tongue like 350...
Nissan better do something really special with this next Z or its just going to look like an updated 350. They didn't do a bad job with the G37, but I'm not so sure how you improve on elegant simplicity(minus the tailights) and buldging fenders of the 350. I liked the older 300ZX, but side of the car was two-dimensional, too flat, ie not interesting at all. Try and find a bad angle on the current Z!?

If I do anything at all, short of driving her into the ground, I'm going to rebuild the motor (high compression) N/A.

I wont be trading, my 350z is enough car for me. The 370 will be an amazing car though. For once they've gone in the right direction making it smaller and lighter.

 

i might keep my 03 or get the 370z depends on how its going to look like!

 

from the looks of it, imo i just don't like it.. like many otheres here, there are plenty of other cars out there on the road that looks/performs better..

i say this because i still want my nsx.. lol
