Some of you have to remember what it is to be young again. You bought a 30k+ sports car just to go in the slow lane and relax?? Why?? Why not just settle for a Corolla or something??
Be real. I speed sometimes but it comes with the territory of this car. I dont drive recklessly, people can drive slow and be way more dangerous than someone who knows how to drive but is driving faster.
Didnt we buy this car to drive fast around turns?? I did. Last time I checked I probably broke more laws goign around corners than I could remember.
Do I have time to drive to the track every week? No. Would I love to? yes.
Its just not realistic. Lighten up guys.

I have to agree with SRTtoZ...I didn't pay all this money just to look good in it. Redline it? Why is there a redline? Why not? Thats why it is there, so you know the limit. No I dont dog the Sh*t outta mine but I keep her on her toes every now and then. Living in Germany, I hit 140mph weekly. Get what you paid for....

I realize the territory. For me to praise that I never did anything stupid is a lie; everyone that has purchased the car to an extent has. There is just no need to blow out to redline every shift.
Of course, we all play around in the Z. It's built for performance while still holding a sense of style. I didn't buy the car for gas mileage or ergonomics or anything. I bought it to do what it's built for; performance. Driving on a highway or down the street doesn't call for redlining.
I'd have a mechanic take a look at it but don't end up like the kid that hit a tree and his Z split in half. Stay safe.
