Alright guys, I've decided to attack the daunting challenge of making a usable FAQ for this site and the 350Z. Ideally, it will be linked to the "Resources" button above. Some of it will have direct information, ie. "How do you take off the bumper?" followed by Step 1, 2, 3.... Some of it will be in the form of links to prior threads.

I'd like the help of all the members.

Specifically, what do you consider Frequently Asked Questions?

I'll start with some examples

"Why does my touring only have a TCS button?"
"The trip computer says "ICY," why?"
"Help, my digital speedo and analog speedo vary!"
"What is a grounding kit?"
"How do I install clear corners?"
"Can I make the stock NAV play DVD's?"
"What kind of screen fits into the NAV compartment?"

So, you guys get the idea. I know somebody is working on a DIY section, we will communicate so that we don't replicate the same info. Also, I hope to have the FAQ section organized into areas, but for now, start generating some questions.

 

"What is the difference between TCS and VDC?"
"What is an LSD? Does my Z have an LSD?"
"What is the difference between the different models (Base, Enth, Perf, Touring, Track)?"
"I heard the Z will have a TT version in '04, is this true?"
"I'm want to install new wheels, will my tire pressure sensor still work?"
"What is a CAI?"

There's enough complaining about there not being a FAQ, here's your chance to help change that.

 

Can the VDC be changed in the ECU to be off and you have to turn it on?

Here are a few I have answered a couple of times on a few sites.

How can I improve / upgrade the bose stereo?


Lots of people ask this question and finding the answer on the net is not easy because the Blose stereo is so odd.


The answer could explain the differential outputs and the low impedance speakers. (no you can't just replace speakers or just add an amp). It could also explain line output converters and stuff like that.

Just my $0.02

 

You could also do a small section on G35 comparisions.

Is the G35 the same car? (mostly, but with a longer body)
Does the G35 have use the same wheel size / offest? (yup)
What are the differences in the engines? (mostly intake / exhaust)
etc.
