There's only a few select people I'd let drive my car only because I trust them with my life (and they all know how to drive stick ).

Other than the whole (you might wreck my car) issue, I have manual seats and I can't stand when people move them around!

Anyone have a solution for this. I have a general idea of where everything is, but I was thinking of putting a piece of tape in an inconspicuous area to know how far back the seat should be and how far back the recline goes.

I swear to Fing Jebus, everytime I bring my car in for a service (yea I know I should do it myself, but no facilities) the damn service people must think they are "gansta" or something and push the seat up all the way and recline the back all the way so the head rest is hitting the black trunk devider! How the F can anyone possibly drive like that!

= takes me days to feel comfortable in my seating position again

Bah! (end rant)

I offered to let my dad drive it the day I bought it and he said no thanks. What a puss. Also asked my then 89 year old grandfather if he wanted to drive it up and down the street he passed (thank God).

With all the mods done now, I might let somebody drive it when I pay it off in 8 months.

honestly there are too many variables to worry about when someone other then you is driving your car.. people are not used to rear wheel drive, and often the people wanting to drive it are not used to having torque at lower speeds. I've seen too many stupid accidents..

I'll let my girlfriend of 4 years drive my car, but thats it, and only because she's super responsible.

i get pissed when the dealer takes my Z for a "test drive" so much, that i make the service manager sign/date my work-order that they not drive my Z without me in the passenger seat. (my last car, 3rd Gen DSM, would get abused by my dealer whenever i took it in for maintenance and would have to return shortly for: new pressure plate, tranny rebuild, lowerblock-rebuild)

–as for letting friends drive my Z, i only let the ones i trust with my life drive it, because only they understand what my car means to me.
