My dealer has 4 available due to cancellation
My dealer internet manager called me today to tell me that my car is coming one day ahead of schedule, now 8/26.
He also asked me if I know someone in the market for a 350Z. One of their preorder coming on 8/23 and 3 on 8/26 were cancelled. So, they have 4 available for sale.
I am passing the word along just in case some of the forum member is dying for one NOW. The dealer is South Point Nissan in Austin, Texas. I don't know how much they will charge now, but I paid MSRP in January with no hidden fee.

I didn't expect someone from Mid West is interested in a car in Texas. Well, if you're dying for one, it just a looooooong day drive. I drove here from NY when I moved here, just took me 3 days.

hey touring......i just emailed your dealer.....i was told yesterday by my dealer here in odessa, tx that i am apart of the 2nd allocation and not the first...as i was told when i put down my payment in may..........so hopefully i will be able 2 squeeeeze into 1 sooner rather than later........BUT, i thought that these opening slots went 2 the 2nd allocation people.......hmmmmm.......well c i guess!!!!!............thanks for the info.......

Here in New Mex we have a route 666.. its from Gallup North to Shiprock.. About 85 miles of mixed windy and strait roads.. two lanes.. blind corners.. mean drivers.. and tons of speeders... right through Navaho territory... Loads of fun....

I have two touring models one is chrome silver with frost leather the other
is white with frost leather.The chrome silver is automatic and the white one
is 6 speed!

did the drive from Arizona through Monument Valley up to Four corners in October while moving to Texas. Be careful. The Navajo's have speed traps out their and ticket the pale face for fun.

Will test drives be available on the 2 available ones? I'm interested in Z, but still love my S2000. If blown away sufficiently by a test drive, though, I'd consider switching. I don't expect that would be the case, but I'm open-minded enough to check it out!

I did. The funny thing is I happened by the local dealer today and BAM!!! There was a Silver and White Touring on the ground! So...
I saw the Silver exterior and the Frost interior, called Art and that's what I bought! It couldn't have worked out better! As a matter of fact, the owners of those first 2 local cars are friends of mine!!
And Art was great to work with. I appreciate you taking the time to share this info.
