British slang for "What'sit", I'd guess -- which is in turn a variation of "Whatchamacallit" or "Thingamabob".

The only person on Top Gear who hates the Z is Clarkson on the show. The actual magazine loved it and gave it their car of the year award in 2004.

Clarkson doesn't hate the Z. He hated the one he got to review because it was garbage. He didn't like the sounds system, but he thought the car was nice. He even admitted later on that it was the better driver's car. And to be fair, they always have scripts to follow. They exaggerate to make the show funnier. That aside, I'm curious to see if the 370 ends up on the show.

I wish they would review the Nismo.

Hi, greetings from the uk.
This is what a wotsit is in the uk...a brand of crisps or in your language a potato chip.

A wotsit is like a cheese puff - bit like a cheeto but fatter, shorter and more uniform in its dimensions. They are gross.

Ahh, you beat me to it!

Wotsits is a brand of cheese puffs sold by Walkers. The most common form are cheese flavoured curly shapes. However over the years various other shapes (such as waffle-shaped Wotsits) and flavours (such as prawn cocktail and flaming hot) have also been sold. "Limited edition" Wotsits have also appeared on more than one occasion.

"Limited edition" Wotsits
-- you mean like the limited edition Nismo's?

I always wished they reviewed the Z with the HR, I was thrilled when I saw it on Fifth Gear and raved about it. So cool to see a bunch of shots of the very car you own, and have people who have driven hundreds of cars say the Z is great.

Someone on another forum (in Portland, OR) said he took his Altima in for a TSB and said the dealer had $6000msrp off for the remaining 6 Z's in stock!

Nissan 350Z: There’s a replacement on the way, the 370Z, which is good news for those of you looking to pick up a 350Z on the cheap. Yes, the big V6 is thirsty, but it’s built like a brick wotsit and you’ll look far cooler than in a Porsche Boxster.

not to bad. but you all have to understand the English humor. It's somewhat dry. Them Bloody bastards!
