It’s on a Z??????? So you know he traded in a Porsche and put this tag on his Z. When reregistering the car, don't you think he would have recognized the idiocy of using that plate?

Porsches slogan is "There is no substitute."

So this is saying the Z is a substitute.

a little over you head.

Thanks for the education. The Z is no substitute for a Porsche.

It's sure a step up from a Boxter.

I disagree, I went from a Porsche to a Z and don't feel too badly about it. Plus my car is faster than my two buddies with 996's and they are always worried about breaking 7000 dollar transmissions. Remember you're comparing a 20k Z to a 20K Porsche, not a new 150k Turbo.

Own a Porsche for a while and you quickly realize it's just another car with more expensive problems than a cheaper car. I do miss the interior though, that's for sure, ohh and brakes too. I don't miss 9L of oil at $10/L and $40 oil filters however...

Cool tag Dennis, I get it.

Default Porsche owners will get it.....

The intended audience will get it, basically my Porsche buddies at autocross and track events.

Any way here is the car with S-techs and spacers added recently. Also this photo shows my old plate modified for the Z.

A mini out handles us, that doesn't make either of them any less of a chick car.

The Boxter is the new 914.

I can never get past the Porsche appearance. Maybe if one of them looked a bit different since the 30's when they first started, but they don't. The most unique one they made was the Maus and I don't think that counts since they only made 2.
