does the Z draw alot of police attention
#103
There's been times when i thought for sure i was goin to get pulled over but they just ignore me. Don't have a radar detector and sometimes i still go about 20mph over the limit and end up accidentally driving that fast around a cop. Still though, never ever been pulled over for speeding in any car. Luck i guess?

Just over 2 months with the Z. No license plate and legal tint (which looks really dark with how dark the cabin of the Z already is) and I haven't even seen a cop looking at my car. They always seem to be focused on something else or act like they don't see it. I was feeling the need to exercise my motor yesterday so I took it up to 6k through an intersection in a 25 zone right past a motorcycle cop that sits at the base of this hill coming down from the high school I went to what seems like forever ago. (definitely not a high schooler) Long story short, he definitely heard my car. But he ignored it. I hit 40 before I saw him, accidentally mashed the brakes making it obvious. So if I was going to get a ticket that would have been the time.
My Subaru would have gotten me pulled over there in 2 seconds

I haven't had my Z for that long, but it definitely seems like there are more cops on the road when i drive my car, as opposed to driving an 04' ford ranger. However, this is probably just a result of me being more attentive. I was speeding through my high school parking lot yesterday (I am a senior), probably like 30 mph and the speed limit is 10. Anyways there is always a cop in a parking lot and he surely saw me, cuz he followed me the rest of the way home, but didn't pull me over. I try to give cops head nods through the school speed zone, just to **** them off. Haha

To all other members driving 10+ the speed limit, slow the fck down, and no it's not the Z that attracts attention, it's the dipshit douches and their driving. Perfect example is above post.

No, I am a senior in high school. I got the Z with inheritance money that i wont need for college, due to scholarships. Seemed like an enjoyable investment. Anyways, obviously i don't intentionally speed to attract attention. The point is that the majority of people, at least around my high school speed 10 + over the 20 mph limit. However, I rarely see people getting pulled over, but you'd figure that a cop would be more likely to pull over a sports car...

I had a Ford Explorer for 6 yrs before the Z - Not a single speeding violation.
I get the Z and get pulled over 5 times for speeding, yet I DRIVE THE SAME WAY.
I speed, and I always have...but not like a maniac. 90% of cars on the road drive 10-20 MPH over the limit.
For example, got flagged doing 73 in a 50...every damn car on the road with riding along around that speed...not like I was flying down the highway zig-zagging.
The Z draws attention from police, and anyone who says otherwise is a bold-faced liar.
