Are you driving fast all the time to have bad gas mileage? I drive a mix of local and hwy and I'm avg 23-24mpg. Only mod I have is a kn drop in filter and everything else stock.

So I drove about 12-13 miles this weekend to the nearest microcenter store and got about 19.6mpg (I reset the counter before I left the house). Driving was about 80highway (20 street) and it was rising in mpg.

The more fwy mileage you put, the more mpg you get...pretty simple concept yeah? 19-20 is conceivable. It also depends on how heavy your foot is, and your average speed.

There is nothing wrong with his O2 sensor. We've already figured out what his problem is, read the rest of the thread for the answer.
