i would shift from 6 to 4. shift it into fifth then shift and release it in fourth since six doesnt have any syncros and i wouldnt wanna mess it up going straight to 4th from 6th

Whatever gear feels comfortable. If the gear has no top end left then it is too low.

In my 03 I go straight from 6th to 3rd from going around 60mph and i get plenty of a launch. Down to second would be too far at 60mph. If your doing close to 80 already though only downshift to 4th

Did that unnecessary blabber contribute anything at all that could be considered useful to this thread, or the entire forum for that matter??...

Did your unnecessary blabber contribute anything either???? No? didn't think so. There for stop being so negative and relax a little bit man, drink some warm milk.

Anywho, so I am going to contribute something to this thread (So 350ZEEEEEE won't have a d@mn heart attack), it all depends on your driving style really. If you are cruising on 80mph in 6th gear you will be sitting at 3K RPM (Non Rev-up). So lets say you would like to give it that extra push without hitting redline too soon you could go with 5th gear, however, you will a better "jump" or "kick" if you dropped it in 4th.

I would say drop it into 4th gear and feel and hear your engine and get ready to shift to 5th. That's my personal opinion. Good luck mang!!!!

And DaT St8 JDM YO!!!!!!

Oh and 3rd would be too close to the red unless you have a HR then 3rd will be safe if you are cruising at 60-65 mph. Good luck and drive safe!

If you drop from 6th at 70+ to 3rd, you're gonna get a rude awakening. If you're in to replacing internals, knock yourself out.
