Do you have any vacuum/exhaust leaks that you can see and or hear?

Whats the weather like? The climate change will make the car feel slower than usual.

Do you have a CEL on?

Yes. The 2002 350Z is tuned at the factory for 310 horsepower. If you add intake and exhaust it drops to 280 horsepower. Happened to a buddy of mine.

It is having an identity crisis. Find another 2002 350Z, park next to it, and let them sort it out.

He probably means a 2002 issue of the 2003 "Z", dudes. Be nice!
Nemesis350zz: I recommend the "Frequent Questions" section, man. If not, do a specific
search on the problem. Good luck.

Too many people have these kind of cars that obviously do not deserve them.
IMO. People that don't know squat about the cars they drive before they try to mod them out. Well. They just aren't worthy of even a bloody kia. If I didn't know my ride was factory tuned or not. I think I would shoot myself before I had a chance to multiply.

That being said. You can take a can of starting fluid and start the engine. Then spray the fluid around the air intake and plenum.

If while doing this you hear the idle escalate. This means you have pirate air and you have to seal the leak.

Here's how you fix your problem...

Go back, and re-torque ALL of the bolts that hold the upper manifold to the lower. Be careful NOT to strip them out or break them. I recommend a 1/4" drive torque wrench.

I'm sure you got them tight the first time, but after everything heats up and cools back down, you'll find that they are loose again. Whenever I installed my AAM spacer, I had to repeat this procedure about 3 times.

This thread has to be a joke. PM me if you would like to discuss it, and perhaps we can come up with a more comprehendable thread to create...
