That's a responsible way of looking at it. Just remember that while insurance will pay for the car there's no saying anyone walked away from this accident

Can't tell by the pic - but if the side & back windows are not tinted, that would be a good way to go.

By the way - what year & how many miles?

With those wheels I'd have to say it's either the base or enthusiast model.

-black out your headlights/taillights etc.
-Shorty antenna (got my 1.5" antenna from ebay for $8.00) and i still get reception
-Wheel spacers (if you can't afford new wheels, this is a must imo) stock wheels are way too sucken in and you can probly get a set of used spacers for around $100.
-JWT popcharger (got mine for $109 shipped) and i've seen them go for $40 used
U sound like a responsible kid and i hope you don't do anything stupid like most kids (im 21 and i've done a lot of stupid things on the road). Also don't rice it out, no cheapo sh*t, and no stickers. My suggestion tho if you have little $ saved, save some more. Don't force yourself to buy something cuz it's cheap. Good luck!

Well I'm not gonna knock on ya for being young - you're asking for help and as a community that's what we should be doing - helping. With $100 you can't really do anything substantial to any car so I say just save it and get something you really really want and will enjoy - that way all that saving will pay off and it makes your car experience that much better. That's just my opinion - best of luck.

if i were you OP, i'd save my money for the upkeep on the z (unless your parents pay for that). whether it's the cost of gas, oil changes, or regular maintenance, if your budget is $100, you're going to be in trouble in the future when a brake job costs you 3 times that or replacing spark plugs, etc. which add up quick if you don't do the wrenching yourself.

Get locking lugs and car care supplies. There are some great threads on here as far as keeping her looking nice. And please, do the forum, the car and the world a favor by proving doubting members here wrong and driving responsibly. It is a gorgeous, fast car. No need to prove anything.

Some mods you can do is the rear wiper removal mod just look at the DIY section on the forum and the s2k antenna is a good one such a little thing can make a huge difference.

DAMN, some of you cats are harsh.

I realize those of us from the 30 + crowd had to live a long time with a lot less horse power than what the z offers. Waded through many a **** ride thinking it was bad while nissan jerked off and took there time trying to figure out how to make 300hp a reality.

There isn't 1 single dude or chick on here that wouldn't have had a z car when they were old enough to have had one.

That being said..., ya. It's just a matter of time before your lack of puberty gets you into a situation that will cost you alot more than a broken heart from some trailor park skag you like in school.

Respect the car. It'll respect you. Stop trying to bust your chops to get it modded.
Pick up an extra job. That you don't need so you can sink all of that into modding the car out.

You don't have a bunch of options. Your 1 franklin is better off spent on high octane gas.

Because you just need to cool your jets and be glad your punk a$$ already has 300 ponies. Besides serious mods void serious warranties. It's a sinch you're going to want all of that warranty.

These are just opinions and there is a reason they are free.

Learn to work on your ride without mods. Because it only gets more difficult once you start with the bolt ons.

100$ would probably come close to buying a bitchin set of msd wires. Then all you need are the iridium plugs.

$100 = Deposit on a good defensive driving course. Probably the best mod you can get before getting behind the wheel.
